The last few meetings we have spent a lot of time talking and planning about what and where to go as a club. The weekends for April-October are full! It has already started with several members showing their cars at the Chicago World of Wheels show and we signed up two new members. A few of the plans are to visit the “Crazy 80’s Museum” in Dwight IL on May 25th, “Big Rock” car show on June 1st, several of the members are signed up for the “Hot Rod Power Tour” on June 7-15th. June 22nd is “Gears and Ears” show in Yorkville, this is always a large gathering with unique hand made trophy’s by the host club. July 27th is the Fizz Ehler car show in Sycamore. There will several hundred cars in attendance for this one. An over night trip to Michigan is planned for August 20-23. We will attend the Wednesday night cruise at the Gilmore Museum in Hickory Corners and return there on Thursday to tour the museum. Thursday afternoon we will drive to Grand Rapids and stay overnight there. Friday we can go to US 141 dragway in Martin MI. to watch and or do some fun runs of our own. Friday night we can park at Berger Chevrolet for the 28th Street Metro Cruise, it’s a smaller version of Detroit’s Woodward Cruise. Saturday the 23rd is Berger Chevrolet’s 100th anniversary celebration and final all GM show.
