There was a good turnout of members for our June monthly meeting. We visited Jason’s Deli in Schaumburg for our lunch with the meeting following. On Aug 23 and 24, we attended the 20th annual Berger Chevrolet all GM show in Grand Rapids MI. We made two stops along the way. First for lunch at Das Dutchman Essenhaus in Middlebury IN. We then went to Shipshewana In. and browsed a few of the shops and stores in this Amish town….

The day Started out nice and not too hot. It didn’t take very long for the heat to build up and it got HOT. The tour visited three shops in the area of Monee, Manteno, and Manhattan. There were 80 cars, with a wide variety, that participated in the tour.

On Aug. 26 nine members and a couple other friends cruised to Gus’s Drive In located in East Troy WI. We joined the Wisconsin Chevelle club at their last event of the season for some good conversation and good food. There were 23 total Chevelles in attendance off and on thru the evening.
